The Sony XS-Fb163G uses a 1" Poly-Ether Imide balanced dome tweeter to handle the highs that typical speakers cannot reach, instantly making it a superb upgrade.

The Poly-Ether Imide material allows for the driver to reach its 22,000 Hz frequency peak. To handle the mid-range and low end that can reach down to 35 Hz, the FB-163G utilizes a HOP Aramid Carbon Fiber Matrix cone;

The combination of these materials, along with the tweeter, presents a proper full-range sound that is an instant upgrade from OEM drivers.
